ECMWF Reanalyses

Description

This directory of the meteocloud data archive provides access to meteorological reanalyses performed by ECMWF’s Integrated Forecast System (IFS). In particular, the subdirectories contain the following data products

• ERA-Interim (era-interim/)
• ERA5 (era5/)
• CERA-20C (cera20c/)
• ERA-20CM (era20cm/)

The ERA-Interim data collection covers the whole reanalysis time period 1/1979 to 8/2019 and is interpolated to a resolution of 0.75° (lat./lon.). It is available on model levels in grib format (grib_0.75deg/) and netCDF format (nc/) as well as on pressure levels (pressure_0.75deg/).

The ERA5 data collection is ongoing and currently comprises the time period from 2007 to about 3 months before real time. It is interpolated to a resolution of 0.3° (lat./lon.) and available on model levels in grib format (grib/) and netCDF format (nc/).
